get guests talking

What happens when you put a room full of introverted tech geeks together at an event?
Not much, actually — and that was exactly Founders Forum’s problem.

Founders Forum host annual events for the founders of Facebook, Virgin, Huffington Post, LinkedIn and pretty much every other tech giant you can think of. But with so many brilliant yet reserved minds in one room, they needed a way to break the ice and get people talking.

The solution? A parody event opener — featuring some of the most noteworthy guests acting out what they might be doing today if the internet had never been invented and they lived in the land of the ‘World Wide What?’. Narrated by Stephen Fry.

After the roaring success of the Wold Wide What another two films were commissioned for the following years, a fyre festival parody and a film about a dating app exclusively for tech billionaires, narrated by Johanna Lumley.
