BRANDED MINI DOCS

I began creating video tutorials with Peter during the pandemic (I’m still not sure how he managed to secure the paperwork that allowed me to travel internationally through multiple lockdowns). However the relationship quickly grew into producing a wider range of content, from social media videos to, most recently, mini-documentaries exploring his favourite suppliers across Europe.

Both of these films were lightweight, fast-turnaround shoots, each shot in a single day at each supplier with just Peter and myself on site. I live to make these kinds of films, so if these are your thing, please reach out.

FEATURE LENGTH TUTORIALS

Some final tutorial edits ran up to two hours long and were filmed over the course of a week, with multiple tutorials shot in parallel to maximise efficiency while materials were left to stick, dry, and take shape. Managing sound and rushes from three 4K cameras without missing a single detail made the shoots and post production highly complex, especially as many key moments could only be captured once.

With each piece being entirely bespoke, there was no “here’s one I made earlier” safety net. The challenge was to present everything as clearly and simply as possible, without compromising the visual quality required to maintain Peter’s luxury aesthetic.

These clips are taken from Peter’s courses, where he meticulously demonstrates every intricate step involved in transforming what appear to be scraps of leather into flawless luxury handbags.
